Transnational project Meeting and LTT Train the Trainer AviWaste
As part of the Erasmus+ KA220 project – AviWaste, InterEdu participated in the Train the Trainer course on “Creation of VR Content for Education”, as well as in the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM).
Through the collaborative work of the project partners, the focus was on sharing experiences, monitoring results achieved so far, and defining the next steps, aiming to ensure the quality, continuity, and sustainability of project activities.
On the occasion of International Day of Education, which we celebrate today, this project demonstrates that knowledge, skills, and lifelong learning are key to developing high-quality education, in line with European initiatives such as the Union of Skills, which emphasize strengthening future-oriented competences.
InterEdu continues to contribute to the development of innovative approaches in education through international cooperation and the use of modern digital tools.

Lifelong Learning Platform – European Civil Society for Education and European Education Week 2025
We are proud that our colleague, Dr Danijela Manić, participated in the EVTA Annual Policy Forum in Brussels!
At this important event, held within the Lifelong Learning Platform – European Civil Society for Education and European Education Week 2025 at the EESC, discussions focused on the future of vocational education and training (VET) in Europe. Our representative presented the key findings of the Policy Development Group on how to make VET more attractive and internationally connected.
Key messages:
• Recognition drives attractiveness – mobility only has real value when skills gained abroad are automatically recognized at home.
• The messenger matters – alumni, teachers, and employers have a greater impact on VET perceptions than institutions alone.
We advocate for EU-wide mobility with automatic recognition and long-term funding, so that international VET experiences become the rule rather than the exception.
Bravo to EVTA and thank you to our colleague for her excellent contribution! 🇷🇸
Together in VET, for stronger and more connected education across Europe.
EU Project Labs & EU Project Hackathon
Project writing is never just about funding — it’s about vision, teamwork, and the magic of creating something meaningful from ideas.
InterEdu had the pleasure of participating in the EU Project #Labs & EU Project #Hackathon in Brussels, an event that truly reflects the spirit of collaboration and innovation within the European #VET community.
What makes a hackathon special?
It is the moment when strangers become teammates, ideas become concrete work packages, and creativity turns into real, scalable solutions. The energy of collective problem-solving, the exchange of perspectives, and the shared passion for improving education are what drive projects forward long before any proposal is submitted.
Over just two days, we experienced the full charm of project creation — from brainstorming and shaping concepts to aligning them with impact, sustainability, and European priorities. It was a reminder that project writing is not just a technical exercise; it is a creative process, a team sport, and an opportunity to imagine better futures.
A huge thank you to European Vocational Training Association – EVTA for an excellently organised event and for the follow-up support that helps transform ideas into competitive proposals.
Special thanks to our mentors for their strong support and positive drive throughout the process. Their guidance, expertise, and encouragement helped shape our ideas into something stronger, clearer, and more impactful.
Looking forward to continuing this journey and bringing these ideas to life.

- Strong cooperation with social partners and dual education remain key drivers of quality VET.
- Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) are proving to be powerful tools for modernising training systems.
- Building skills ecosystems supports both innovation and competitiveness.
- Real transformation comes when grassroots innovation is aligned with policy direction.
- Active learner participation is crucial to preparing a workforce ready for the future.
- Applying design thinking helps create solutions centred on the needs of all stakeholders.
InterEdu at Balkan Youth Fest
We were delighted to participate in the Balkan Youth Fest, connecting with young people, organizations, and initiatives from across the region.
During the festival, the InterEdu team engaged in networking, idea exchange, and informal gatherings, all while enjoying a rich program of music and entertainment. At the same time, we maintained a strong focus on educational activities and discussions around pressing societal challenges.
Through workshops, conversations, and sharing experiences, we deepened our understanding of topics important to youth, including the democratization of knowledge and empowerment through shared European values. We believe that education, collaboration, and active youth participation are key to sustainable and inclusive societal development.
Our participation in Balkan Youth Fest further strengthened our commitment to youth work and contributing to positive change in our communities.
Collaboration without borders
What does it mean when an organization like ours advocates for education? We’re essentially calling for a massive, democratized emancipation of all people. The word emancipation connotes “fighting for freedom,” and that’s exactly what our organization strives to achieve: to give freedom to the new thinkers of the world so they can overcome the burdens of their ancestry.
In this particular journey, ancestry is embodied in two culturally distinct narratives: the Muslim and the Orthodox stories of the Balkan Peninsula, whereas emancipation refers to expanding on those narratives and improving them. The people from our organization represent one side of this story, while our Turkish partners exemplify the other side of the very same story. Throughout many turbulent epochs in this region’s history, misguided leaders sought to divide the people, while the people themselves struggled to unite into one peaceful whole, a unity that, all too often, gave way to war, ominously repeating itself through time and across borders. Today, we aim to show that the new globalized spirit our partners (#Turks #FabLab) and we (#Serbs #InterEdu) have embraced knows no division but respects diversity; tolerates no nationalism, yet praises nationality; and above all, recognizes love everywhere, no matter the cultural border, because all cultures share that exact value.
Thanks to our idealistic yet realistic principles, InterEdu has explored possibilities for furthering international collaboration with our Turkish partners. After they welcomed us into their culture in Antalya, Türkiye in July, 2025, it was our turn to do the same—and we likewise took the task seriously!
From the lively, intercultural streets of Sarajevo (buzzing with the guardians of three different religious pillars) to the quietly, marbelously charming Andrićgrad (built in white marble), and finally to Sirogojno, with its rural serenity wrapped in rustling straw, we toured each place that offered its own inspiring motif for our next project idea.
This is what we live for: connecting people for the sake of correcting past ideals into new ideas. We have been blessed to meet such wonderful partners who expanded the boundaries of what we knew, and for that we appreciate them more than we could ever express, even with all the warmth of the famous Balkan hospitality.
